Local basketball team located in Newton NH. Representing Newton at the Derry Sportzone recreational league every Monday night.

The West Newton Whales. what once started as just a group of friends playing basketball together soon turned into a legitimate rec league team. Growing up together has given the team a strong chemistry and familiarity as a group out on the court.

THE WORK.

I was put in charge of creating a fun yet simple logo for the organization. I started out using sketches and turned it into a vectorized logo using illustrator. I designed jerseys for the players and hope to design other apparel for the team and for the fans.
